OUR YOGA ROOM
The ‘Powerstation Yoga Room’ is a place where you can create, prepare and cultivate your health and wellbeing. Be it physical, emotional, mental or social. This is all done through the practice of yoga with a range of many different techniques, including posture and movement, breath awareness, relaxation and concentration plus self development and meditation.
Shannon Clare BIO: After many years of an intermittent Yoga practice Shannon finally found her way back to the mat permanently in 2014. As the subject of workplace bullying, she was left with anxiety, self-doubt, and bouts of depression. She headed back to mat to learn how to let go, live in the present and breathe. The relief she started to feel from yoga led to a regular practice and her commitment thereafter has allowed her to grow and explore the mind body connection. Shannon decided to explore further and during her Yoga teacher training, she realised that she could be of service to others, helping them to let go and ease their anxiety. After graduation, Shannon went on to complete her Kids Foundation Yoga Teacher Training and has enjoyed introducing Yoga to the future leaders of tomorrow, including her own twins. Shannon is also a Reiki Healer and Masseuse. “Yoga continues to ground me, and has given me a better understanding of myself and my relationships. It has also given me somewhere to go when I need guidance — the comfort of my mat where there is no judgment, just the mind body spirit connection in the present moment.”
